Glossybox April Review

So I know, I'm really really late with this post! I've been fighting with my camera trying to get these loverly pictures off it! This was April's fabby Glossybox which you can sign up for at www.glossybox.co.uk. Another monthly beauty box I've been subscribed to for a while, this was the one that started it all, and I've been loyal ever since! Now, April's box a collaboration with designer Pearl Lowe - so the box itself was beautiful too!

I really like the design of the box and it'll be lovely to store things in around the house! I kinda wish every month was a different design, it does always feel more exciting when the box is pretty too! The contents this month were actually really great too! It was the best box I've received in a while!

Firstly, a decent sized perfume sample from yves rocher. It actually smells really nice, so I'll need to get around to wearing it soon! It's quite a summery scent and the bottle is a smaller version of the real thing, which gives a much better impression and looks nicer to carry around!

Next, a sunsense sunscreen. This will be very handy on my holiday in June and will protect my face from the sun - keeping it all nice and sealed til then though!

Ahh, Nip and Fab. I love this stuff! This body butter is yummy yummy! I've used it before and really love the smell and the texture of the product. All of the scents they sell are lovely and it's the smaller size so its handy for taking away with you on holiday, so again, I'm saving this wee tub for sunny climes!

Sleek Blusher in Pixie Pink. This is a Pinkier tone than I would usually go for but it actually looks really nice on. I've just got into Sleek products and so far I'm really impressed, they look more expensive than they actually are, and this blusher will add to my makeup bag with ease.

Ahhhhh, it's a nail polish! Saved the best for last! If I get a nail polish in any of my beauty boxes it usually makes the box for me. But an Essie polish?! This is immense. It's a colour from their new summer collection called Nice is Nice. It's erm...pretty nice! Maybe a bit of a lighter colour than I would normally choose, but I used it in a mani and it lasted for 4 days, good going and looked great with a glitter top coat too.

So, there we are! April Glossybox. Loved it!

Quick Foot Pack Review!

Hi guys!

Over the last couple of weeks I've been trying out a few products to get myself ready for my sunny holiday in a few weeks time, obviously, this means sandals and flip flops etc, so I was aiming to get my feet all nice and beach ready!

Well, while I was in that loverly concoction of a place that is Home Bargains I spotted something interesting...

These were 2 foot booties that are meant to help soothe and soften dry, rough and chapped feet. They are enriched with Vitamin E and Natural Extracts. For 99p I thought they were definitely worth a shot!

They do feel rather odd to wear, sort of like wearing small carrier bags on your feet for 20 minutes! But I was actually really surprised by how effective they were! I left mine on for about 30 minutes after a bath and my feet were really a lot softer once I took off the booties. I am actually really impressed with this product! So much so, I've been back and bought a few more packets to use before I go away. I certainly recommend checking these out if you can spot them in your local home bargains!

Random review, but I honestly think these are worth a try and am starting to spread the word!

Night all,
Lynne :)
